For new players diving into the Haunted Treasures event, here’s a quick rundown of how treasure-hunting works in Monopoly GO! During Treasures events, you’ll use Pickaxes to dig out hidden treasures and complete levels for exciting rewards. Pickaxes can be collected as you play, winning them in tournaments, Quick Wins, milestones, and more.
As you dig, keep an eye out for Blocks (which you’ll need to clear to advance) and Stubborn Tiles (which take two taps to reveal any hidden treasure). You may also encounter Exploding Critters—they’re helpful little friends that clear surrounding tiles or take down one layer on a stubborn tile. And don’t worry about unused Pickaxes—they’ll automatically convert into dice rolls or cash once the event wraps up!
